As midsummer approaches, let's venture into these poetic pastoral landscapes of Beijing to capture the pure summer romance.

Nanhan River Waterfront Greenway

As a new hidden gem in Haidian for summer strolls, the Nanhan River Waterfront Greenway stretches 5 kilometers and features a scenic riverside walkway ideal for slow-paced exploration. Along the route, you'll find blooming flower fields, cultural spaces, and restful corners that combine waterside views, floral beauty, and leisure.

"Thirteen Parks along the Green Corridor"

West of the Summer Palace, several parks unfold in picturesque distribution. Step into Liangshan Park where encircling hills and waters, interlaced farmlands and lakes weave a uniquely refreshing natural ambiance and rustic charm.

Yinghulou Park blends the rustic charm of a countryside park with embedded historical and cultural landscapes, showcasing exquisite natural scenery with minimal traces of artificial embellishment.

At Beiwu Park, the Western Hills Scenic Area unfolds within close-viewing distance, where clear weather frames the Summer Palace's Tower of Buddhist Incense in its entirety. This serene oasis offers tranquil seclusion for leisurely strolls and aquatic fun amid uncrowded tranquility.

Adjacent parks including Zhongwu Park and Chapeng Park offer equally splendid serene spots for leisure and sightseeing, all nestled within the Three Hills and Five Gardens area, and collectively celebrated as the "Thirteen Parks along the Green Corridor".

The Seven-Arch Bridge Flower Sea in Changping District's Changchi Road currently unfolds like a dreamscape scroll. Thousands of mu of sprawling meadows of violet verbena, white cosmos, and yellow coreopsis interweave beneath the ancient bridge arches, creating a poetic harmony with the emerald mountains beyond.

Surrounding the flower sea, designated picnic zones invite visitors to bring mats and snacks for intimate communion with nature, with free admission to the scenic area.

Liuyin Park

Gracing Liuyin Park's lotus ponds, water lilies silently bloom amid intermittent birdsong along the wooded trails, where strollers on timber boardwalks may glimpse cormorants gliding over the water's surface.
