As spring dawns, Beihai Park bursts with vibrant life, with flowers in full bloom, competing for attention in a beautiful display.

At Chanfu Temple, pure white magnolia flowers bloom against the backdrop of the azure sky, ancient buildings, and red lanterns, dancing like graceful young maidens.

At Minor Western Heaven (Xiaoxitian), the magnolia flowers contrast beautifully with the golden glazed tiles, while the towering White Dagoba in the distance completes this picturesque spring scenery.

At the West Bank Dock and Haopu Garden, the spring plums are in full bloom, and the sight is intoxicating as petals dance in the gentle breeze.

In addition to appreciating the spring blossoms, visitors can also row a boat on the Taiye Lake, ascend the Jade Islet for a panoramic view, and explore the Haopu Garden and other scenic spots to enjoy the time-honored beauty of classical Chinese gardens.

The park has joined hands with Fangshan Tea House to launch seasonal pastries named "Beihai Magnolia Flower Cake", "Beihai Peach Flower Cake", and "Beihai Winter Jasmine Cake", all available exclusively in spring. They are perfect combinations of intangible cultural heritage techniques passed down from imperial chefs and the appealing shapes of representative spring flowers in the park such as magnolia flowers and Chinese wild peach. With rich and memorable flavors, the pastries make for an unforgettable tasting experience. In the future, Beihai Park and Fangshan Tea House will continue to come up with more co-branded culinary offerings.
