On March 15, the Imperial River route, the oldest boat tour route in Beijing, officially resumed operations. This is the first natural river/lake boat tour route reopened this year. It is expected that by April, six routes in Beijing, including those involving the Liangma River, the Chaobai River, and the Grand Canal, will fully resume services.
The Imperial River route comprises three stops: the Zoo Dock, the Ziyuwan Dock (located inside Zizhuyuan Park), and the Summer Palace Dock. Tourists can embark on the boat from any of these docks. The operating hours of the section starting from the Zoo Dock are from 10:30 to 15:30, while that of the section starting from the Ziyuwan Dock are from 10:00 to 16:00.
According to the resumption plan, the Liangma River route is set to be reopened on March 21, followed by the Chaobai River route on March 28. By April, all six natural river/lake tour routes in Beijing will fully resume operations.
