2025-03-19

On March 17, the "Floral Bloom in Beijing - 2025 Beijing Tulip Culture Festival" and the 30th Spring Flower Tulip Culture Festival at Zhongshan Park officially began.

The festival this year is scheduled to last for 45 days and will feature 95 varieties of tulip and other bulb flowers, totaling 180,000 plants, including 20 tulip varieties presented for the first time. The best viewing period is early April.

During the festival, a special exhibition titled "30 Years of Zhongshan Park with Tulips" will be held. In addition, the park will collaborate with the World Tulip Society and the IGMPR, a Dutch company devoted to floral creativity, to co-host the "Journey of the Tulip" exhibition highlighting the global tulip culture.

The park will introduce a tulip-themed cultural market, offering tulip-related products, light refreshments, and handicrafts. Additionally, items like tulip-themed postcards, fridge magnets, and stamp books will be introduced, which integrate Zhongshan Park's natural and cultural elements.

The festival this year covers multiple venues, including Zhongshan Park, the China National Botanical Garden (North Garden), Beijing International Flower Port, Beijing Garden of World's Flowers, Chaoyang Park, and Changyang Park, among others. Running from March 17 to late May, a variety of tulip-themed cultural events will be hosted at different venues.
