Free Tickets During the Spring Festival Holiday for Those Born in the Years of the Snake

From January 29 to February 12, visitors born in the Years of the Snake can make reservations through the WeChat mini-program of Beijing WTown (古北水镇) for free admission to the scenic area. The maximum number of visitors who can enter for free is limited to 6,000 per day.

Hilarious Talk Shows

From January 29 to February 3, a hilarious themed show season will be presented.

Customized Drone 'Fireworks' Shows for the Spring Festival

Beijing WTown has planned two performances with 400 drones featuring a drone display customized for the Spring Festival and a simulated fireworks show by drones.

Chinese New Year's Eve Concert

From 23:30 on January 28 to 00:10 on January 29, the "Chinese New Year's Eve Concert" (除夕守岁音乐会) and the "Simulated Fireworks Show by Drones on Chinese New Year's Eve" (农历跨年无人机模拟烟花秀) will enliven the traditional ceremonious elements through technological means.

Folk Parades and Performances

From January 29 to February 12, dragon and lion dances, China-Chic shows, gong and drum performances, and others will be rolled out within the area stretching from the square outside the Tourist Service Center to Riyuedao Square (日月岛广场).

Stage Play

From February 4 to February 12, a stage play named "Little Fairies Under the Great Wall" (长城下的小精灵) will be presented at Tanghe Theater (汤河剧场).

Multiple Ice and Snow Sports Experiences

From late December 2024 to mid-February 2025, visitors can enjoy more than 10 ice and snow sports, such as ice skating and ice fishing. Guests staying in designated hotels within the scenic area will each be granted a complimentary 4-hour skiing tour at Jinshanling Galaxy Ski Resort.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Fair

From January 28 to February 12, intangible cultural heritage-based handicrafts, delicious snacks, and intangible cultural heritage-based performances will be available at Miyun Grand Theater (密云大戏楼).

Gastronomical Offers by a Fireplace at a Temple Fair by the Great Wall

From January 21 to February 12, a fireplace-centered gastronomical feast will be launched at Miaohui Square (Temple Fair Square, 庙会广场) at the foot of the Great Wall.

Free Tickets for Visitors with Reservations for New Year's Eve Dinner/Reunion Dinner Bookings

From January 28 to February 14, visitors who book the Reunion Diner themed "Feasting with Fortune: Golden Year of the Snake" (金蛇运转团圆饭) may receive free tickets to the scenic area corresponding to the number of diners. Please call 010-8100-9999 for more details.

In addition, from January 28 to February 12, the "Fu, Lu and Shou" (three stars representing fortune, prosperity, and longevity) figurines will appear in the visitor hall. Visitors can also receive free blessing cards at the Tourist Service Center. On January 29, the first day of the Chinese New Year, visitors can also greet the morning glow at the Simatai Great Wall and embrace the good fortune of the Chinese New Year. From January 29 to 31, visitors can hike to the heights of Yuantong Pagoda Temple (圆通塔寺), light their first incense sticks of the Chinese New Year, and receive Dingshenggao (a kind of sweet cake) carrying auspicious blessings.
