How Did I Know BGD?
I discovered BGD (Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology) through BINUS International Office, which provided a list of partner universities around the world. BGD stood out as an opportunity to immerse myself in Chinese academic life.

Why Did I Choose BGD?
I chose BGD because it is located in the capital city of China, Beijing. My father also encouraged me to learn Mandarin, as we believe it is a critical skill for the future. With China's growing influence in global business, Mandarin is becoming increasingly important in every aspect of industry.

My Study Plan at BGD
While my major at BINUS is Finance, I enrolled in Marketing courses at BGD. These include Digital Marketing, Global Communication, New Retail & Business Models, and Marketing Communication. My study plan focused on understanding how marketing is taught and practiced in China, while also improving my Mandarin and adapting to the local learning environment. Through class projects and team discussions, I was able to observe the similarities and differences between Indonesian and Chinese business education.

Conclusion
This exchange program has been a life-changing journey. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the teachers, especially Ms. Monica, Mr. Johnny, Mr. Alex, and Ray, the intern who supported me from day one. A special thank you goes to Teacher Liu, Teacher Gao, Teacher Lancy, and Teacher Bill for their patience and kindness while teaching me, even though my Mandarin was still developing.

Thank you also to the basketball coach Mr. Sun Jian and the team for welcoming me into training and sparring matches, and giving me the chance to become champion of this year's College Cup with the business department team. This unforgettable experience has not only developed my academic knowledge but also enriched my cultural understanding and global mindset.
