Financial Aid for First-class CUP Scholarship Recipients
1. Full coverage of tuition fees within the study period.
2. Free university dormitories for international students (twin rooms).
3. Monthly stipends for the recipient within the study period (10 months/year). CUP will grant:
CNY 1,800/month for graduate students;
CNY 2,000/month for postgraduate students;
CNY 2,500/month for doctoral students;
CNY 2,000/month for students in short-term programs;
4. Comprehensive medical insurance for international students in China.
Financial Aid for Second-class CUP Scholarship Recipients
1. Full coverage of tuition fees within the study period.

Financial Aid for Third-class CUP Scholarship Recipients
1. Full coverage of accommodation costs within the study period.
2. Comprehensive medical insurance for international students in China.
Applicable programs: All programs offered at CUP (Beijing)
Eligible applicants
1. Citizens of countries other than the People's Republic of China who are in good health and have no criminal record.
2. Excellent students with transcripts meeting CUP's criteria for scholarship application, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
3. Applicants applying for programs taught in Chinese should have the appropriate Chinese language proficiency and provide relevant certificates. Applicants whose native language is not English and are applying for the English taught programs should meet the following criteria: IELTS ≧ 6.5, TOEFL ≧ 80 (or submitting official certificates issued by the relevant school to prove that undergraduate or postgraduate students have undertaken studies conducted in English for two years or more). Students from English-speaking countries or countries where English is the official language are encouraged to apply for programs taught in English.
How to apply
Register and log in to the Online Application System of CUP and select "CUP Scholarship".
Application materials:
1. Copy of the applicant's passport (information page)
2. Notarized copies of your highest degree certificates and transcripts
3. Non-criminal Record Certificate
4. Health Examination Certificate
5. Study plan
6. CV
7. Two recommendation letters (from supervisors of the same research field with professional titles of associate professor or higher)
8. Acceptance letter from the CUP supervisor (masters or doctors)
