I. Short-term Chinese Language Training Programs
The China University of Political Science and Law offers Chinese language courses for international students. The Chinese language courses are designed to help international students gain basic knowledge of the Chinese language and improve their communication skills. The Chinese language courses are divided into two levels, elementary and intermediate, and the teaching methods and learning content are adjusted flexibly according to the proficiency level of international students.
Introduction:
1. The period can be one semester or one academic year, and it is a full-time course;
2. 20 hours of teaching per week; no less than 18 weeks per semester;
3. Every international student will receive a completion certificate after completing all the courses with satisfactory results.
Curriculum:
A short-term Chinese language training program offers a rich array of language courses and cultural experiences for international students, including colloquial Chinese, Chinese listening, Chinese reading, comprehensive Chinese learning, a general introduction to China, basic legal knowledge in Chinese, HSK4-6 tutoring, as well as Chinese cultural experiences.
Eligibility of Applicants:
1. An eligible applicant shall be a foreigner aged between 18-55, with a high school diploma or a diploma of higher level;
2. An eligible applicant shall be physically and mentally healthy, have good moral character, abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as the university's rules and regulations, and have no criminal record.

II. Student Exchange Programs between Institutions
Applicants: Full-time undergraduate and graduate students from partner universities in the same fields of study as the China University of Political Science and Law.
Application Deadline:
Spring Semester (February-June): December 5
Autumn Semester (September-January): June 5
Number of Exchange Students: Subject to the mutual exchange agreement signed between the two institutions concerned.
Period: One semester or one year

III. Chinese Law Taught in English (CLTE)
The one-semester Chinese Law Taught in English (CLTE) program will expose international students to the historical background and current development of Chinese laws, and provide them with general knowledge of Chinese law through a comparative approach to legal studies. CLTE courses are taught primarily by Chinese professors, with the target audience being mainly international students. It is also offered as an elective course to Chinese students.
Period: Each autumn semester
Application Period: Usually from March to May
