Recently, the 9th International Culture Festival of the Capital Medical University (CMU) commenced. Nearly 1,000 guests, teachers, and students from over 60 countries and regions gathered at the campus and enjoyed themselves in this multicultural carnival.

The opening ceremony offered a spectacular array of cultural performances. These included renditions of English and Bangladeshi songs, as well as diverse dance performances such as those from Myanmar, Iran, and India, not to mention dragon dances, traditional Chinese music performances, and fashion shows featuring traditional costumes from various countries, all showcasing the unique charm and youthful energy of cultures around the world.

A diverse range of cultural exhibitions and exchange activities were also held. At the booths representing various countries, visitors could find exquisite handicrafts, distinctive dishes, and more, all brimming with exotic charm. With their "9th International Culture Festival Passports", visitors moved between the booths to collect unique stamps from different country booths and special four-season-themed stamps of CMU, while learning about the historical heritage and contemporary development of various countries through interactive events. Traditional Chinese games such as touhu (pitch-pot game) and iron hoop rolling were also arranged on-site, and visitors also had the opportunity to wear traditional Chinese outfits and taste tanghulu (sugar-coated fruit skewers).

The event also featured an open call for volunteers from the Chinese students and surrounding communities, forming a public service team consisting of both Chinese and international youths. This added a strong sense of connection to and highlighted the value of multicultural exchange of the festival.
