On October 24, the 2025 Vietnam "Study Beijing" Education Exhibition and HSK Study in China Education and Career Expo was grandly held at Dai Nam University in Vietnam. This exhibition was jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Beijing International Education Exchange Center, Chinese Testing International, the Hanoi Chinese Language Learning and Testing Center, and the Dai Nam University. Not only was the scale of the education exhibition grand, bringing together tens of thousands of students and representatives from many renowned universities, but over 15,000 students and relevant personnel also registered to participate.

The Vietnam education exhibition aimed to further enhance the international influence of Beijing's education, provide an international platform for Beijing's universities to showcase their own advantages and characteristics, and build the "Study Beijing" brand. The participating institutions included Peking University, Beijing Normal University, China Agricultural University, Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Communication University of China, North China Electric Power University, Minzu University of China, North China University of Technology, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Capital Medical University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Beijing College of Finance and Commerce and other institutions.

At the opening ceremony, Dao Thi Thu Giang, Rector of the Dai Nam University, extended a warm welcome to the delegation of high-quality universities from China with great enthusiasm. Luo Yaoguang, Education Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam, stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam and the China-Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchange. This exhibition has promoted educational exchanges and youth exchanges, gathered youthful strength for the development of the two countries, and is of great significance for writing a new chapter in China-Vietnam friendship. Qiu Yulu, Head of the Beijing Education Delegation and Deputy Director of the Beijing International Education Exchange Center, sincerely invited Vietnamese teachers, students, and parents to study, live, and experience in Beijing, and personally feel the unique charm of China and Beijing, which is both ancient and modern, open and inclusive. Huang Lei, Deputy General Manager of Chinese Testing International, displayed the enthusiasm and pursuit of Vietnamese students for Chinese learning through the establishment of HSK test centers and candidate data. Tran Anh Chung, Head of the Hanoi Chinese Learning and Testing Center in Vietnam, stated that this exhibition has deepened the exchanges between China and Vietnam in the field of talent cultivation and culture, effectively building a bridge that promotes mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides. Duong Duc Tam, a student representative studying abroad, said that the younger generation should become builders and guardians of the "Bridge of Friendship" between China and Vietnam in language and culture. At the opening ceremony, representatives from China and Vietnam exchanged souvenirs symbolizing the vision of educational cooperation, conveying the friendship between the educational circles of the two countries that transcends mountains and seas.

Chinese and Vietnamese universities exchange the memorandum of cooperation on sister universities

During the event, multiple cooperation achievements were made between Chinese and Vietnamese institutions. Vietnam's Hoang Mai Star School was designated as a "Study Beijing" global student recruitment base by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and signed student recruitment base agreements with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, North China University of Technology, Beijing Technology and Business University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Beijing College of Finance and Commerce. The North China University of Technology also held a scholarship award ceremony with Dai Nam University, planning to sponsor five outstanding students from the latter to pursue the former's master's and doctoral education. Additionally, the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Dalian University of Technology, and Chinese Testing International also exchanged memorandums of cooperation on sister universities with Dai Nam University at the opening ceremony, laying a good foundation for future cooperation.

The lineup of Beijing-based institutions participating in this exhibition is impressive, encompassing 16 renowned colleges and universities, including Peking University, attracting over 15,000 students from Hanoi and its surrounding areas.The booths of various institutions are thronged with people forming small queues. Students came with their check-in booklets, carefully browsing through the institutional materials, inquiring about the featured majors and courses, and paying attention to scholarship application requirements, study expenses abroad, and post-graduation development directions. The teachers from the institutions patiently answer various questions, providing detailed explanations one by one from the admission application process, document preparation requirements to language proficiency standards and campus life services, thus offering comprehensive information support to Vietnamese students who intend to study in Beijing.
