Description:
Zizhuyuan Park was built in 1953. It got its name from Fuyin Zizhu Yuan, an old temple during the Ming and Qing dynasties, in its northwest. The park covers an area of 47.35 hectares, about one-third of which is water. There are three lakes, two islets and one dike in the park, with two waterways, namely the Nanchang River and the Shuangzi Channel, running through it. As a park famous for its natural scenery, Zizhuyuan Park boasts tens of thousands of bamboo culms, which grow in vigorous exuberance and display enticing beauty. The landscape was designed based on the original landforms in the park to keep the genuine beauty. Rocks are scattered artistically while pavilions, corridors and halls stand in a seemingly disorganized yet graceful way with flowers and trees as enchanting decorations among them.
