Description：China National Botanical Garden (CNBG) was approved by the State Council on December 28, 2021. Based on the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Botanical Garden, it is developed jointly by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Beijing Municipal Government. China National Botanical Garden prioritizes ex-situ conservation of plants, and also engages in, among other things, scientific research, public education and horticulture, while offering recreational activities.
