Description: Yuyuantan Park, as one of the eleven major municipal parks, is located in the west of Beijing, adjacent to Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and China Millennium Monument. It covers an area of 132.38 hectares, including 59.72 hectares of water, 74.44 hectares of green space (including 32 hectares of lawn), with a green coverage rate of more than 95 percent. There are about 199,500 plants in the Park, including nearly 2,000 cherry blossoms of more than 10 varieties. The Park has a vast area, a long history, wide water and abundant forests, and beautiful scenery.
