Reserve/Purchase Tickets: As a park under the administration of Beijing Municipality, Temple of Heaven offers ticketing services at the ticket office.

Ticket Booking
1.Visitors  can make real-name staggered reservations 1-7 days in advance online  through the WeChat Official Accounts of "Visiting Beijing Parks" or  "Temple of Heaven" (the official ticketing platforms), and enter the  park by showing their valid ID. The e-tickets are only valid for use on  the date of the visit.
2.Domestic visitors who have purchased  full-price tickets are required to show the corresponding ID card used  to purchase tickets for verification when entering the park according to  the time and date of visit.
3.Visitors who have purchased discount  tickets are required to show their e-ticket QR codes and the  corresponding ID documents used to purchase tickets for verification  when entering the park according to the time and date of visit. Please  save a screenshot of the QR code in advance.
4.Foreign visitors and  visitors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can book the tickets in  advance online via the WeChat Official Account "Temple of Heaven", and  show their e-ticket QR codes and the corresponding ID documents used to  purchase tickets for verification when entering the park according to  the time and date of visit. Visitors holding Foreign Permanent Resident  ID Card can book the tickets online 1-7 days in advance, and show their  e-ticket QR codes and the corresponding ID documents used to purchase  tickets for verification when entering the park according to the time  and date of visit.
5.To visit designated scenic spots in the park,  including the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, Echo Wall, and Circular  Mound Altar, visitors can book the staggered tickets 1-7 days in advance  online via the WeChat Official Account "Temple of Heaven". If the park  has not reached capacity on the day of the visit, visitors can scan the  QR code at the park entrance to purchase tickets on the same day.  Comprehensive Service Counters in the park may also place orders for the  visitors.
For domestic visitors: After purchasing the tickets  successfully, they are required to show their ID cards when entering the  designated scenic spots according to the time and date of visit.
For  visitors who purchase discount tickets, foreign visitors, and visitors  from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: After purchasing the tickets  successfully, they are required to show their e-ticket QR codes and the  corresponding ID documents when entering the designated scenic spots  according to the time and date of visit.
For visitors with an  annual/monthly pass: After purchasing the tickets successfully, they are  required to show their ID cards when entering the designated scenic  spots according to the time and date of the visit.
For visitors who  enjoy free admission policies: They can enter the designated scenic  spots directly by showing their relevant valid certificates for  verification.
6.The combo ticket and the specialized ticket for designated scenic spots should not be used repeatedly at the same scenic spot.
7.Refund  Policy: Visitors should make a refund request on the same platform via  which they purchase their tickets, i.e., "Visiting Beijing Parks" or  "Temple of Heaven". (1) Refund applications for unused tickets must be  submitted within 7 days from the date of visit, with no fees charged. A  refund request that passes the deadline will be declined. (2) Refunds  are not available for used tickets.
8.No individual or organization  is allowed to engage in profit-making activities using the account  registered on the platform. Activities such as buying and selling on  behalf of others, price manipulation, unauthorized bundled sales,  unauthorized package sales, and any other acts that disrupt public  health and safety orders will be strictly cracked down upon in  accordance with the law.
Full-Price Combo Ticket: A full-price combo  ticket, including the admission ticket and the tickets for designated  scenic spots in the park, i.e., Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, Echo  Wall, and Circular Mound Altar.
Full-Price Admission Ticket: An  admission ticket for adults, not including the tickets for other scenic  spots in the park (parks within the park).
Discount Combo Ticket: A  discount combo ticket, including the admission ticket and the tickets  for designated scenic spots in the park, i.e., Hall of Prayer for Good  Harvest, Echo Wall, and Circular Mound Altar.
Discount Admission  Ticket: A discount admission ticket, not including the tickets for other  scenic spots in the park (parks within the park).

Description:  The Temple of Heaven, built in 1420, the 18th year of Emperor Yongle’s  reign of the Ming Dynasty, was the venue for emperors of the Ming and  Qing dynasties to offer sacrifices to the heaven and pray for good  harvest.
The Temple of Heaven covers a total area of 273 hectares.  Round in the north and square in the south, its layout represents the  ancient belief that "the heaven is round and the earth square." The  principal structures in the Temple of Heaven include the Hall of Prayer  for Good Harvest, Circular Mound, Imperial Vault of Heaven, Hall of  Abstinence, and Office of Divine Music.In 1998, it was inscribed onto  the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO.
