Description: The China Red Sandalwood Museum, founded on September 19, 1999 in Beijing, was built with solely the investment by Mrs. Chan Laiwa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FuWah International Group. It is the first private museum in China to collect, research, and showcase red sandalwood art, serving as a venue for the public to feel the charm of the traditional Chinese furniture.
The exhibiting area of the China Red Sandalwood Museum is 9,569 square meters. Here, you can see Ming and Qing-style furniture collected by Mrs. Chan Laiwa in several decades, the Buddhist artworks, and miniatures of ancient buildings such as the corner tower in the Palace Museum, the traditional Siheyuan of Beijing and Feiyun Pavilion.
For many years, the China Red Sandalwood Museum has carried forward sandalwood carving skills with red sandalwood art, and spread excellent Chinese red sandalwood culture in China and around the world
