Description

The Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level scenic area and a key national cultural relic protection unit. The area is named for its three sections of the Great Wall submerged in water, making it the only scenic area in Beijing where the Great Wall connects with water, also known as the "Great Wall for Boat Tours." Located in Jiuduhe Town, Huairou District, it is 70 kilometers from downtown Beijing and 35 kilometers from Huairou City. It is renowned for its unique features and beautiful scenery, integrating green mountains, clear waters, and the ancient Great Wall into a leisure destination. The area boasts beautiful mountains and waters, with a majestic Great Wall, combining the elegance of Jiangnan water towns with the grandeur of northern landscapes, earning it the reputation of "the beauty of the north and the elegance of the south, all in the Water Great Wall."
