Description: Yaji Mountain is a holy land of Taoism in North China, with an altitude of 361 meters, a total area of 5 square kilometers, and an ancient building area of 8,404.18 square meters. It is located in Liujiadian, Pinggu District. Named after the towering peaks resembling ancient girl's hair buns, it enjoys many reputations such as "Golden Top", "Jidong Taidai", and "Jinji Fudi" (a place of fortune near the capital).
Yaji Mountain began in the Tang Dynasty, emerged in the Yuan, Ming, prepered in the Qing Dynasty, gradually became a two-roof as the center of the building complex, the existing 19 ancient buildings, roughly can be divided into three layers, the top of the mountain Bixia Yuan temple and jade Emperor pavilion, medicine King Hall and other buildings built on the cliff, the scale of the project risk, rare in ancient times. Yaji Mountain scenic spot is one of the famous 16 sights of Pinggu and it also contains Shentao Peak, the head of the 16 sights of Pinggu. The rest of the Zixiao Palace, Cihang Hall, Dongyue Temple, Huixiang Pavilion, Five Buddha Hall, Mountain Tour Hall, and many other scenic spots and temples are distributed in the middle of the mountain and at the foot of the mountain
