Jingdong Grand Canyon is located in Yuzishan village, 6 kilometers northeast of the urban area of Pinggu District of Beijing. It consists of two scenic spots. One is the Deep Mountain Canyon Scenic Spot and the other one is Jingtai Mountain Forest Ecological Scenic Spot.
Jingdong Grand Canyon Scenic Area covers a total area of 16 square kilometers, with vast lakes, deep ponds distinct from each other, and lush mountains. There is a 1000-meter-long aerial ropeway with a drop of 420 meters, connecting the Grand Canyon and Jingtai Mountain. The Aerial Glass Trestle, which was built In 2016, stretches for 518 meters. There are also some cultural landscapes and entertainment facilities with rich cultural connotations, such as the high-altitude steel wire walking, water speedboats, water cable suspension bridge, a memorial hall dedicated to the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, etc.
The scenic area is an ideal choice of sightseeing, summer vacation, leisure vacation, adventure, harvesting fruits and vegetables in autumn, and so on. It is an ideal place for people to return to the nature.
