Description: Situated at the north section of the central axis of Beijing, the Beijing Olympic Forest Park is an important part of the Beijing Olympic Green. Covering an area of land of 680 hectares, the Park is the largest city park in Beijing and an ideal leisure place for the citizens. The Park is divided into two parts by the 5th Ring Road. The south part is an ecological forest park with hills and waters, and the north part is a natural forest featuring natural, ecological and green landscapes. And an ecological corridor spanning the 5th Ring Road links the south and north parts together, forming a sustainable ecological zone featuring natural hills, waters and vegetation, also a green belt that improves the urban environment and climate of Beijing.
