Recently, The Seventh Colourful World - Cultural Exhibition of Countries along the Belt and Road, hosted by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality and organized by CRI Online of China Media Group and Beijing Performing & Arts Group, kicked off in Beijing, attracting 30 embassies and international organizations in China to promote their characteristic cultures during the exhibition.

Staff at booths of embassies took various measures to promote their cultures through WeChat and Sina Weibo platforms, via shooting videos on-site, and by giving gifts.

On September 2, Syrian Ambassador to China Mhd. Hasanein Khaddam visited the exhibition areas of countries at the Colourful World and promoted the booth of the Embassy of Syrian Arab Republic.

On September 3, Venezuelan Ambassador to China Giuseppe Yoffreda and his wife Venus Rincon visited the exhibition area and promoted products from their country.

"Colourful World is an essential platform for cultural exchanges and a bond to connect cultures around the globe," said Yoffreda.

On September 4, Minister of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to China Sidi Mohammed El Bakkari attended the event. He said he was happy to take part in the event and was grateful to all Chinese friends. He also hoped that more Chinese people could visit Morocco in the future. He expressed his gratitude to Colourful World, which established a bridge for exchanges between China and other countries.

On the afternoon of September 4, Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China Grasiano Nyaguse visited the exhibition area of the Colourful World. He said that it was the first time for him to take part in the event and he really got a feeling that the exhibition was a colourful world. Chinese visitors were friendly and many of them were interested in products from Zimbabwe. He was delighted and saw the exhibition as a good chance to showcase their products and culture. His country will participate in the Colourful World for the next time and bring more characteristic products of Zimbabwe.
