China-Japan Friendship Hospital will be the first medical institution to collaborate with Easy Beijing - an app by which foreign talents residing in Beijing can register and make appointments for physical examinations, follow-up visits, and online consultations.

Easy Beijing is a mobile application supported by Beijing Talent Work Bureau and developed by Beijing Foreign Enterprise Human Resources Service Co., Ltd. (referred to as "FESCO"). It was first released in May 2020.

Easy Beijing now provides international talents with work permit and residence permit services, and it also coordinates with 21 government agencies - such as Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Education Commission - to provide updates on over 50 policies related to foreign talents' employment, medical treatment, children's education, and social security. With the platform's multilingual online policy consultations, foreigners can enjoy one-stop services for handling arrivals in Beijing, working in Beijing, adapting to Beijing life, and managing social security.

On January 20, FESCO signed a medical cooperation framework agreement with China-Japan Friendship Hospital in order to provide more convenient medical services to Beijing's international talents, formally establishing the Medical Services Demonstration Area of Beijing at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital.

China-Japan Friendship Hospital is one of 52 hospitals in the world that accepts commercial insurance coverage for direct billing and is the designated medical consultation service provider for all Beijing-based foreign diplomats. The only leading institution in the international integrated health system approved by Beijing Municipal Health Commission, China-Japan Friendship Hospital also works on developing international medical standards for tertiary hospitals under the commission's auspices.
