Shunyi International Talent Community is located in the southwestern Shunyi District and northeastern Beijing at the geometric center of the "Three Science Cities and One Demonstration Area." Spanning 89 square kilometers, the community encompasses the Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone (Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone), as well as all or part of Konggang Street, Tianzhu Town, Houshayu Town, Nanfaxin Town, Gaoliying Town, and Liqiao Town. The area boasts a mature industrial system, with its airport-based economy ranking among the top in the country. It features a sound ecological foundation, well-developed living facilities, and serves as both the capital's gateway for international exchanges and a core zone of international activities.
Aligned with the capital's strategic positioning of the "Four Centers" and the "Two Zones" initiative, Shunyi District has undertaken the high-standard planning and construction of an international talent community.
The district enhances the innovation and entrepreneurship environment to build a high-end talent entrepreneurial hub that integrates industry and urban life. Centered on the "3+4+1" industrial development framework, the district continues to advance industrial park construction and promote the integration of innovation resources, the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, the incubation of tech startups, the cultivation of innovative talent, and its open and coordinated development.
The district elevates the city's international standing to create an ecologically sustainable and livable home for international talent. By developing distinctive demonstration streets such as the Shine Hills Commercial District and the Tianzhu Culture and Art Demonstration Street, it has created urban spaces imbued with unique vitality and charm. More international education and healthcare resources have been introduced, with 11 international schools and 10 medical institutions providing services to the international community.
The district enhances community services and fosters an inclusive environment for the coexistence of diverse cultures. Nearly 100 sessions of the "Embracing Chinese Culture, Sharing Shunyi Friendship" (学中国风 共顺义情) series activities have been organized, attracting over 1,000 attendances by foreign nationals and establishing a distinctive activity brand for the international talent community.
