Future Science City spans a planned area of 170.6 square kilometers, featuring a "Two Zones, One Core" spatial layout (Eastern Zone, Western Zone, and Ecological Green Core). It focuses on an innovation cluster known as the "Two Valleys and One Park": the life science valley has implemented a life sciences catch-up initiative and has entered a phase of producing significant innovative achievements; the energy valley has advanced the strategic goals of carbon peak and neutrality, assembling a leading contingent of advanced energy industries spearheaded by central state-owned enterprises. The Shahe Higher Education Park undertakes fundamental research and talent cultivation, aiming to build a new complex for education, research and industrial development.

Future Science City has been committed to developing its international talent community through the following efforts.

1. The talent community focuses on the central display area to build a first-class talent ecosystem. Efforts are concentrated in the Global Talent Building and surrounding public areas within the Eastern Zone of Future Science City, adopting a combined approach to provide complete policy services, conducting external publicity, and facilitating exchange and communication.

2. The talent community improves innovation and entrepreneurship policies for international talent. Changping District has carried out the "1+1+N" innovation policy framework to meet talent needs from multiple perspectives. The housing security system for foreign talent and internationalized talent has been continuously optimized.

3. The talent community builds a full-chain service system for talent and enterprises. In the energy valley at the Future Science City's Eastern Zone and the life science valley at the Western Zone, a comprehensive "one-stop" talent service platform is being established and upgraded to continuously improve the quality of talent services.

4. The talent community will consistently leverage high-quality public service platforms to attract and gather talent. By utilizing platforms such as central–local and central–university collaborative innovation platforms, public service platforms, and open laboratories and training bases jointly run by universities and enterprises, it aims to provide a first-class environment for talent innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting and pooling more international talent.
