A new foreign currency exchange counter has opened at Wangfujing Station on Beijing Subway Line 8. It provides exchange services for over 40 currencies, enhancing convenience for foreign visitors.

The new counter is at the Passenger Service Center on the north side of the concourse level (near Exit E) of Wangfujing Station, with prominent signage and an electronic screen displaying the convertible currencies and the current exchange rates. The counter now offers instant exchange services for more than 40 currencies, including US dollar (USD), euro (EUR) and Japanese yen (JPY), along with personalized services such as online reservations and customized small-denomination exchanges. For the convenience of international visitors, staff at the counter are all fluent in various foreign languages.

It is reported that the counter is open from 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Sunday. The actual service hours are subject to the on-site announcements.

Prior to this, Beijing Subway had already opened a similar counter at Dongzhimen Station on the Capital Airport Express in order to better serve the needs of foreign tourists.
