Since July 31, Beijing has launched the "BEIJING PASS" cards for foreign tourists. Recently, the scope of China's visa-free travel policies has been expanded to more countries and regions, with entry facilitation measures gradually taking effect. In addition to convenient entry policies for foreign tourists, Beijing endeavors to enhance their travel experiences through the "BEIJING PASS" cards.
It is reported that the cards are to be accepted across three major payment scenarios in Beijing, including transportation, scenic spots ticketing, and shopping, allowing every foreign tourist to enjoy all services with just one card.
Foreign tourists travelling to Beijing can now purchase the cards and apply for refunds with their valid identity documents at any of the outlets at 15 key transportation hubs, including Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport, several railway stations in Beijing (like Beijing Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station), etc.

Tourists can top up their cards at manual service counters or designated self-service devices at 490 stations across Beijing's 27 subway lines. The top-ups can also be made on the "SilkPass" App.
A foreign tourist holding a "BEIJING PASS" card can directly swipe the card to use Beijing's urban rail transit services, suburban railway services, buses, and street tour taxis. The cards can even be used to travel on public transportation in over 300 cities across China, including major tourist destinations such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Nanjing. Moreover, foreign tourists holding the cards can swipe their cards for purchasing tickets at 30 renowned scenic areas in Beijing, as well as for making purchases at 20 authorized supermarkets.

In addition to continuously optimizing the payment experiences and expanding utilization scenarios, various other versions of the "BEIJING PASS" cards will also be introduced, including those featuring elements like traditional folding fans, frog knots (an intangible cultural heritage item in China), the imperial jade seal, and panda dolls, to showcase the city's charm through small cards incorporating more cultural elements.
