Majiawan Wetland Park is located outside the southeast Fifth Ring Road in Chaoyang District, Beijing, with a total landscape area of 710,000 square meters, including 160,000 square meters of water surface. The park is mainly along the banks of the Xiaotaihou River, an important river channel leading from Chaoyang District to the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center. After the comprehensive efforts for environmental improvement and the construction of waterfront cultural and leisure corridors, the Xiaotaihou River is now renowned for its clean water, green banks, beautiful scenery and cultural atmosphere.
