The 2024 annual pass for Beijing parks is now on sale.e
This year, Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks has launched two types of annual passes as usual: the Beijing Park Sightseeing Pass ("Annual Pass") and the Combined Annual Pass for the Parks in Beijing and Culture and Leisure Scenic Spots in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region ("Combined Annual Pass"), with both available in electronic and physical forms for tourists to choose from.
I. Ticket Prices and Applicable Scopes
1. Each Annual Pass costs CNY 100 and provides access to the following parks:
The Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park, Zhongshan Park, the Fragrant Hills Park, Jingshan Park, the China National Botanical Garden (North Garden), Beijing Zoo, Taoranting Park, Yuyuantan Park, Shuangxiu Park, Beijing International Sculpture Park, Beijing Grand View Garden, the Temple of Earth, the Temple of the Moon, and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube).
2. Each Combined Annual Pass costs CNY 200 and provides access to the following parks and scenic spots:
The Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park, Zhongshan Park, the Fragrant Hills Park, Jingshan Park, the China National Botanical Garden (North Garden), Beijing Zoo, Taoranting Park, Yuyuantan Park, Shuangxiu Park, Beijing International Sculpture Park, Beijing Grand View Garden, the Temple of Earth, the Temple of the Moon, the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), and the culture and leisure tourism spots in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (including Beijing Xishan National Forest Park, Yunju Temple, and Yunmeng Mountain Scenic Area).

II. Validity Periods
Annual Pass: January 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025.
Combined Annual Pass: January 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025 for the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park, Zhongshan Park, the Fragrant Hills Park, Jingshan Park, the China National Botanical Garden (North Garden), Beijing Zoo, Taoranting Park, Yuyuantan Park, Shuangxiu Park, Beijing International Sculpture Park, Beijing Grand View Garden, the Temple of Earth, the Temple of the Moon, and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube). III. Purchase Conditions
Every union member and retiree with valid proof of his/her status is eligible to purchase an Annual Pass for CNY 100. Any other visitor can purchase a Combined Annual Pass for CNY 200. Electronic cards may be purchased online through the WeChat Official Account "Visiting Beijing Parks" (畅游公园), Beijing Yikatong (北京一卡通) App, and the "Jingtong" (京通) mini-program. Physical cards are available for purchase on-site at 11 municipal parks and Shuangxiu Park both online and offline simultaneously.
IV. Where and How to Purchase a Pass
(I) Offline Purchase (Physical Pass)
1. Documents Required
Annual Pass
Each retiree must present a retirement certificate and a recently-taken 1-inch full-faced bareheaded photo.
Each union member must present his/her Beijing Mutual Service Card and a recently-taken 1-inch full-faced bareheaded photo.

2. How to Purchase and Top Up a Pass
If you are a first-time annual pass purchaser, please visit the park's sales counter with the required documentation and pay the issuance fee of CNY 6. The fee covers two years (CNY 3 per year). However, those who provide Beijing Municipal Administration and Communication Cards (deposit cards) are exempt from the issuance fee.
Annual Pass holders may visit parks' sales counters with their original passes to top up or make additional purchases.
3. Purchase and Top-Up Hours
From December 15, 2023 to January 15, 2024, sales and top-up services are available daily from 8:30 to 16:30 from Mondays to Sundays.
4. Purchase and Top-Up Locations

Note: The West Gate of Jingshan Park, the East Gate of Taoranting Park, the East Gate of Yuyuantan Park, and the West Gate of Zhongshan Park have been designated permanent offline sales outlets for the 2024 annual passes for the parks in Beijing; and from January 16, 2024 to October 20, 2024, services will be available daily from 8:30 to 16:30.
(II) Online Purchase (Electronic Pass Bound to Mobile Phone)
1. Purchase Channels
To purchase a park pass, simply visit the WeChat Official Account of Visiting Beijing Parks, Beijing Yikatong APP, "Jingtong" mini-program, or the WeChat Official Accounts of the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Fragrant Hills Park, Beijing Zoo Ticket Purchase Platform, and China National Botanical Garden Ticket Purchase Platform, or the Yuyuantan Park 5G WeChat mini-program. Select "Park Annual Pass" on the homepage and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
2. Ticket Sales Hours
From December 15, 2023 to October 20, 2024, purchases may be made between 5:00 to 23:00 daily.
3. Required Documents
(1) For Individuals
Annual Pass
Retirees should prepare their retirement certificates and recently-taken bareheaded photos; union members should prepare their Beijing Mutual Service Cards and recently-taken bareheaded photos.

Please provide an introduction letter from your enterprise/organization and the union member roster. For specific details, please inquire at the sales counter of each park.
There is no issuance fee for purchasing and using an annual park sightseeing pass (electronic pass).
