During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, a total of 4,591,200 citizens and tourists visited Beijing's municipal parks and the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture, experiencing the festive atmosphere. The top three parks in terms of visitor volume were the Summer Palace (1,012,700 visits), Temple of Heaven (955,500 visits), and Beijing Zoo (559,100 visits).

The Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Beijing Zoo have ranked among the top ten key visitor attractions in Beijing for many consecutive days, standing as popular destinations for visitors from outside Beijing. On October 2, the fourth day of the holiday, these municipal parks received a record high of 756,800 visitors, marking the highest single-day attendance in recent years.
Throughout the eight-day holiday, the Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks carried out National Day-themed activities in municipal parks, providing more than 800 sessions of voluntary red culture interpretation services. As a result, nearly 200,000 visitors flocked to these places for patriotic education to celebrate the National Day, conveying their heartfelt wishes to the motherland.
The "Autumn Charm in the Summer Palace" Osmanthus Cultural Exhibition and Beijing Chrysanthemum Exhibition and other activities held in parks have enriched the garden landscapes for the holiday visit. Additionally, the Divine Music Administration of the Temple of Heaven hosted the "Dynamic Music in Famous Parks" series concert, while musical events held in Beihai Park, Zizhuyuan Park (Purple Bamboo Park), the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture, and other parks have provided visitors with a unique and immersive garden experience.
According to reports, this is the best time to enjoy autumn in Beijing municipal parks, and the themed flower beds and festival decorations will be retained until late October.
