Panda House was built in 1990 for the 11th Asian Games. And in 2008 Olympic Panda House was built to temporarily exhibit eight giant pandas from the Wolong National Nature Reserve of Sichuan Province. Currently the original Panda House has been renamed Asian Games Panda House and is open to the public together with Olympic Panda House.
