The Jinyu Colored Glaze Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, built by the BBMG Corporation with the support of top planning and design teams from China and abroad, aims at preserving and promoting the over-700-year-old colored glaze culture, a type of Chinese glass art. At the park's heart is a commitment to protecting and inheriting the colored glaze firing technique. Originally established in 1263 during the Yuan Dynasty, the park served as an imperial kiln for the emperors of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. In 2008, the park was recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage site, with its colored glaze firing technique included in the national-level intangible cultural heritage list.

The park boasts a wide variety of business types, such as the inheritance, research and development, promotion, exhibition, and experiential learning of the colored glaze firing technique, an intangible cultural heritage, as well as the culture-themed B&B, cafes, restaurants, and bookstores. It aims at serving as a platform for pooling intangible cultural heritage resources, a cultural tourism destination in western Beijing, and a hub for international exchanges.

The block still preserves its original spatial structure and features many historical relics, cultural treasures, ancient dwellings, and courtyards with historical and cultural significance. Here, you can admire Beijing's eight imperial handicrafts, visit the Fahai Temple, and appreciate the unparalleled murals. In recent years, Moshikou has created and upgraded several cultural and leisure spaces and built multiple unique, small-scale exhibition halls and commercial and cultural courtyards.

In 2022, the block hosted a festive event, "Celebrating Winter Olympics and Chinese New Year," receiving nearly 105,000 visitors and becoming an internet-popular site during the Spring Festival and the Winter Olympics period.
