Introduction: Located in Mulin Town, Shunyi District, this trail is based on "Low-mountain Zone Ecology". Stretching a total length of 45 kilometers, with an eight-kilometer core section, it connects scenic spots including Tangzhishan Reservoir (唐指山水库), Camel Peak (骆驼峰) and Yuzigou Valley (峪子沟), ideal for hiking and educational tours.
Transportation Guide
Public Transport:
Take Shunyi Bus Route 76 to the Yuzigou Parking Lot stop (峪子沟停车场), then walk for five minutes to reach Yuzigou Rest Station (峪子沟驿站).
Driving:
Navigate to Yuzigou Rest Station Parking Lot or Tangzhishan Rest Station Parking Lot (峪子沟驿站/唐指山驿站停车场).
Travel Tips
The best period to view red maple leaves is from late October to early November. The greenway is closed every November (subject to official notices of the year).
Black storks are often spotted at Tangzhishan Reservoir in winter, so bringing binoculars (or a good camera) is recommended to check them out.
The wooden plank road in Yuzigou features gentle undulations, making it suitable for children aged six and above to hike independently. Wear non-slip hiking shoes and quick-drying clothing, and bring warm water and energy bars as there are no supply stations along the route.
Opening Hours
May 1 - October 31: 7:00 - 17:30
