Introduction: Located in Longwantun Town of Shunyi District, this trial is centered around a "Colorful Forest Sea" landscape. It extends for about 80 kilometers in total, with a five-kilometer core segment. It connects key attractions including Xinghua Valley, Yu Valley and Jiaozhuanghu Underground Tunnel Museum, making it an ideal choice for hiking and family outings.
Transportation Guide
Public Transport:
Take the Shunyi Bus Route 15 to Shanli Xinzhuang West Station, which leads to the Baimaoyu/Shanlixin Entrance. It is highly recommended to drive your own vehicle there!
Driving:
Free parking spots are available at all of the trail entrances (Baimaoyu, Shuangfoshan and Suanzaoyugou Entrances have ample parking spaces, while Shanlixin and Yuemingjian Entrances have limited ones).
Travel Tips
The best time to check out the red leaves is from late October to early November; the trail is closed every November (subject to the official notice of the year).
Wear non-slip hiking shoes and quick-drying clothes for hiking; it is recommended to bring water and snacks (no supply stations along the way).
