The Great Wall is the most representative cultural heritage, the spiritual symbol of Chinese nation, and also the precious wealth of human civilization. Different from people's perceptions, most of the Great Wall however has been badly damaged and collapsed. Therefore, to better protect it, Beijing initiated the restoration of the Great Wall. Protecting the Great Wall is not only protecting the wall itself, but also protecting its spirit and promoting the culture of the Great Wall.
