Located in Xicheng District, the wholesale clothing markets near Beijing Zoo have been reconstructed and renovated into the Fintech New Area, a national-level fintech demonstration area covering more than 6,000 square meters in the end of 2017. The original 12 wholesale clothing markets have now become 8 intelligent office buildings where several leading firms are situated. The Fintech New Area is home to over 200 fintech enterprises and professional service agencies, with registered funding amounting to more than CNY 110 billion.
