Mao Dun's Former Residence is the place where Mao Dun lived from 1974 to 1981. Since he passed away, the residence has been used as an exhibition hall open to the public. Two exhibition rooms are set up in the front courtyard of the residence, exhibiting over 400 items and pictures left by Mao Dun, including manuscripts, literature works, letters, handwriting, and the literature journals with Mao Dun as the chief editor.
