Established in 1925, the Palace Museum was built on the basis of the imperial palace (also known as the Forbidden City) of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the largest and best-preserved wooden-structure palace complex in the world.    

Station: Tian'anmen Dong(E) Station

Admission: CNY 60/person in high season and CNY 40/person in low season
