The 11th BJIFF - Asghar Farhadi Masterclass will be broadcast on iQIYI ("Online BJIFF" Section) on the morning of September 25. The Masterclass features famous Iranian director Mr. Asghar Farhadi, with Wang Yao, professor at Beijing Film Academy, as guest moderator. With focus on "the art of screenwriting," it shares the more decorated Asghar Farhadi's creative life since he began to be engaged in the film industry.

Asghar Farhadi is one of the most important contemporary filmmakers. His films vividly reflect Iran's social reality and living environment. Nader and Simin, a Separation and The Salesman directed and written by Asghar won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film in 2011 and 2016 respectively. His most recent work is named A Hero (2021).
