For the application materials that require notarization and certification, applicants must have them notarized by a notary public or an authorized notary in their home country. The materials shall be certified either by the competent diplomatic organ of their home country or by an organization authorized by the competent diplomatic organ. Finally, the materials need to be certified by the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) located in their home country. All notarized and certified documents shall not be unsealed; otherwise, they shall be re-notarized and certified.
