Beijing 114 Appointment and Registration Service Platform (Beijing 114) was relaunched following upgrading on April 8. Users can now access the appointment and registration services of 270 hospitals in Beijing, basically covering the major tertiary ones. Moreover, Beijing 114 has also rolled out a new feature allowing patients to view their test results and examination reports.

Beijing 114 is one of the multi-channel appointment and registration service platforms in Beijing, through which citizens can make appointments via the WeChat official account "Beijing 114 Appointment and Registration" or the telephone number 010-114.

After upgrading, Beijing 114 enables citizens to make appointments at a total of 270 hospitals, covering all major tertiary hospitals in Beijing. The number of available appointments has been increased, particularly for specialized departments. The platform's search function has also been improved. In addition, a new function enables patients to view their test results and examination reports, including lab X-Ray, CT and MRI reports. Currently, the relevant reports from 41 hospitals can be delivered to patients in a timely manner.

Most hospitals available on the platform allow people to make appointments for the next seven to 14 days, while some offer appointments for longer periods. For instance, Beijing Friendship Hospital and Beijing Shijitan Hospital release appointments 91 days in advance, while Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, and Beijing Anzhen Hospital release appointments 28 days in advance, to better meet patients' needs for medical care.

Meanwhile, Beijing 114 has launched its mini program "Jingtong" on WeChat, Alipay, and Baidu App, where citizens can access the 114 appointment and registration services.

After logging into the platform, a citizen may click the "Appointment" button to select the desired hospital, department, and time slot in turn to make appointments. After checking the appointment information, he/she needs to fill in the verification code and scroll down to the bottom of the page to click the "Confirm" button for a valid appointment. On the day of the appointment, he/she may take a number at the corresponding hospital with a valid identity document.
