Guide for Foreign High-End Talents Already Entering China (Average Salary No Less Than Six Times of Regional Average Salary of Previous Year) to Apply for the Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit

Foreign High-End Talents (average salary no less than six times of regional average salary of previous year) refer to applicants whose average income (excluding tax-free income) is no less than six times of Beijing's average salary of previous year, with no limits of age, academic qualification or working experience. Please see the details in the Classification Criteria for Foreigners Working in China (Trial) at the website http://fwp.safea.gov.cn/

► One original visa (Z or R) or valid residence permit (paper/electronic) held by the applicant. Visa page, entry signature page or residence permit information page of passports or international travel documents. Note: Except for special circumstances such as loss, the passport must be the same as that held when applying for the Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit.

► One original (paper/electronic) of the employment contract that was not provided when applying for the Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit shall be verified and submitted in this part. The contents shall include the work place, work content, salary, working time in China, position and the seal page (signature).

► One original (paper/electronic) verification certificate or health examination certificate of overseas personnel issued by China's inspection and quarantine institution that was not provided when applying for the Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit shall be verified and submitted in this part. The health examination certificates shall be issued within 6 months.

► Other materials.

1.All non-Chinese certification materials submitted shall be provided with Chinese translations and stamped with the official seal of the employer (except passport or international travel certificates). The reception authority or the decision-making authority may request the employer to submit corrected version if there is any discrepancy between the Chinese translation and the original.

2.For certificate materials (except for the letter of commitment on salary of foreign high-end talents (Category A) adopting commitment system, paper materials are not required.
