· The applicant shall complete a face-to-face interview. If the applicant is aged below 16 or above 60, faces travel inconveniences due to illness, etc., or is qualified as high-level or much-needed talents by the state, his/her host organization or a particular service agency may be arranged to submit the application on behalf of the applicant (a copy of the trustee's ID is required). However, if the Exit-Entry Administration Department notifies the applicant that an interview is necessary, the applicant must complete the interview in person.
· For the above-stated materials, all original documents must be verified and submitted with photocopies.
· Any application material in a foreign language (except English) should be translated into Chinese.
· Applicants who have not nullified China's household registration should only submit the application after cancelling their household registration.
· If the applicant is below 18 and applies for the first time, he/she should also submit his/her birth certificate or equivalent document, his/her parents' passports, permanent residence permits and other materials related to the identification of nationality.
