Starting from January 3, the 12306 China Railway App has introduced two new features: "Ticket Booking Pre-filling" and "Ticket Sale Reminder". The introduction of these two new functions is expected to improve the convenience and efficiency of ticket purchasing through the official platform of the 12306 App.

Ticket Booking Pre-filling

Currently, the pre-sale period for train tickets is 15 days. With the introduction of the "Ticket Booking Pre-filling" function, passengers can pre-fill the necessary information such as passengers' identities, train numbers and seat preference before the ticket booking opens on the day of sale. As soon as tickets become available for purchase, passengers can quickly submit their pre-filled orders and complete payment with just one click.

Ticket Sale Reminder

Additionally, passengers can set multiple reminders in advance based on different dates and times when tickets go on sale, so that they can submit their ticket orders without delay and avoid missing out on their preferred train and seat options. The days and times when tickets for different trains go on sale can be checked on the 12306 App.
