Beijing's three new subway lines (sections), including Phase I of Line 3 (Dongsi Shitiao - Dongbabei), Line 12 (Sijiqingqiao - Dongbabei), and parts of Changping Line, including the remaining part of Phase I of its south extension part (Xitucheng - Jimenqiao) and the southward part leading to Zhufangbei Station, will start pilot operations. The first trains are scheduled to depart on December 15.
Phase I of Line 3 (Dongsi Shitiao - Dongbabei) encompasses 10 stations including five transfer stations. Passengers can transfer to Line 2, Line 17, Line 10, Line 14, and Line 12 respectively at Dongsi Shitiao, Gongrentiyuchang (Workers' Stadium), Tuanjiehu, Chaoyang Park, and Dongbabei stations.

Meanwhile, Chaoyang Railway Station's transport hub will go into operation along with the launch of the new subway lines, facilitating the transfer of various modes of transport. It will provide direct access to Chaoyang Railway Station. After exiting the subway station, passengers can walk straight to the eastern escalators to reach the B1 transfer hall, where they can further take a 60-meter walk eastward in less than two minutes to get to Chaoyang Railway Station. To provide passengers with more considerate services, a courtesy service area has been set up in the subway station of Chaoyang Railway Station, providing common items such as needles, threads, ropes and cotton swabs to those in need.
Line 12 (Sijiqingqiao - Dongbabei) has a total of 20 stations, which are connected to 12 lines including Lines 4, 5, and 8. Interchange to these lines can be made through 13 transfer stations.

Jimenqiao Station of the remaining part of Phase I of the south extension part of Changping Line will also function as a transfer station to Line 12.
Convenience stores, specialty stores, shared lockers, power banks and machines selling trendy toys will be available at the hub stations, stations close to tourist attractions, and transfer stations on Phase I of Subway Line 3 and Subway Line 12. At the same time, all the stations along the two lines are equipped with shared power banks and a total of 25 toasters, with fresh milk offered every day.
