In conjunction with the construction of Subway Line 3, Dongsi Shitiao Station on Line 2 will be closed for renovation from November 25, 2023, until February 27, 2024. Please note that the trains will not stop at this station during this period. Adjacent stations will have additional staff at key points to ensure safety and efficiency. In addition, the frequency of shuttle buses and overall capacity of regular bus services along the Line 3 route will be increased to facilitate public transportation.

The Phase I project of Line 3 extends from Dongsi Shitiao in the west, following Gongtibei Road and Chaoyang Park South Road eastward to Yaojiayuan Road, then northward to Beijing Chaoyang Station, and further east along Yaojiayuanbei Road into the Dongba area. This underground line spans 15.6 kilometers, including ten stations. Currently, the primary construction of Phase I project is almost complete, with the line now in the stages of track laying, equipment installation, and interior finishing. Line 3 is on track for completion and operation by 2024.
