Starting from 9:00 on March 30, 2022, the "Green Code for Housing Purchase Eligibility" will be online and available for families who intend to purchase a house or apartment in Beijing, which will expedite the verification process for home buyers. Applicants should:

1) Log on to the online platform for real estate registration (https://bdc.ghzrzyw.beijing.gov.cn/eo/wizard/mainMenu.go)

2) Submit an application for verification of house purchase eligibility after real-name registration 

3) Obtain verification result via SMS (within 30 minutes).

Since the implementation of the housing purchase restriction policy in Beijing in 2010, Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has worked with many departments to continuously improve the verification process of housing purchase eligibility. Currently, the time limit for verification of house purchase eligibility in Beijing has been reduced from ten working days to one. For Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese families and foreign families, the results will still be released after one working day due to joint-review data sharing. Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said that the immediate verification results will be available when necessary conditions are met in the future.
