I. Optional schools
The child of a foreign national based in Beijing may be enlisted in a school for the children of foreign nationals or a regular primary or secondary school.
1. Schools for the children of foreign nationals
At present there are 16 schools for the children of foreign nationals in Beijing (as listed in the attachment) across 3 administrative districts - Chaoyang, Haidian, and Shunyi.
These schools provide international curriculum for kindergarten to senior high school.
2. Regular primary or secondary schools
At a regular primary or secondary school, international students are expected to take part in all the same learning activities as their Chinese counterparts.

II. Application Methods
1. Applying to a school for the children of foreign nationals
Please contact the school of your choice for the children of foreign nationals and submit application materials directly to the school.
2. Applying to a regular primary or secondary school
For issues concerning applications to a regular primary or secondary school, please consult the student recruitment department of the relevant educational authority for the district in which the school is situated or the school itself.
