Recently, the WeChat mini-program of the Peking Union Medical College Hospital was officially launched. Users can find the program by searching "Peking Union Medical College Hospital" (北京协和医院) within WeChat, or by tapping "Medical Services－Appointment Booking" (医疗服务-预约挂号) via the hospital's Official WeChat Account.

The appointment booking page features a "Previously Visited Doctors and Departments" (曾就诊医生及科室) section for faster bookings. Available time slots are listed clearly, and users can filter by date or select "All Available Slots" (全部号源) to view the full schedule for the next seven days.

The mini-program includes a range of practical features covering the entire medical visit process, including patient registration, appointment booking, payment, diagnostic and lab test scheduling, report inquiries, and access to medical records.

Patients can create new profiles or link to existing ones within the mini-program. It supports WeChat facial recognition and phone number verification to ensure the security and accuracy of patients' information. An account can manage up to eight patient profiles, making it convenient to handle medical services for family and friends.

Currently, appointment booking at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital is available through multiple channels, including the hospital's WeChat mini-program and app, "Jingtong" (京通), 114 platforms, "Bank-Hospital Service", and community referrals. Additionally, the English-language hospital appointment feature of "Jingtong" has been integrated into the Official WeChat Account of "BeijingService". Simply click on "Services" in the account to access hospital services.
