On March 30, 2025, Beijing Capital International Airport (the "Capital Airport" for short) and Beijing Daxing International Airport (the "Daxing Airport" for short) officially implemented their summer-autumn flight schedules. Travelers are advised to check for updates in advance before their trips.
Capital Airport's New Flight Season
Data shows that the Capital Airport is scheduled to see an average of 1,259 flights per day during the new season, which cover a total of 219 destinations including 215 for passenger flights.
Among the passenger destinations:
· The number of the domestic destinations (including Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan region) is expected to reach 129, with seven new destinations, such as including Dunhuang, Liupanshui and Jiuzhai) compared with the 2024 winter-spring schedule.
· The number of the international destinations is projected to increase to 86, with nine new destinations added, including Prague, Edinburgh, Irkutsk, Malé and Tijuana.
· In line with the operational features of the new season, the terminals for some domestic flights operated by Air China will also be changed. Passengers are advised to check the official website, App or any other official platform of Air China for detailed updates.
Daxing Airport's New Flight Season
With the start of the new season, the Daxing Airport is scheduled to handle an average of 975 flights per day, including nearly 40 outbound international and regional flights. Over 40 airlines will operate at the Daxing Airport this season, with plans to connect 133 domestic passenger destinations and 36 international and regional ones.
For domestic flights:
The Daxing Airport will launch new flights to cities such as Yining, Dandong, Manzhouli, Anshun, Meizhou, Turpan and Arxan. Flight frequencies will also increase on routes to Guiyang, Urumqi, Yanji, Xiamen, Changchun and Hulunbuir.
For international and regional flights:
· China Southern Airlines will launch new routes from the Daxing Airport to Riyadh via Urumqi, and to Doha via Xi'an;
· China United Airlines will launch a direct route from the Daxing Airport to Osaka, one flight every day.
· Air China will open new routes from the Daxing Airport to Hong Kong and Seoul.
· Vietnam Airlines will introduce a new route from the Daxing Airport to Ho Chi Minh City.
· VietJet Air will add new routes from the Daxing Airport to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
· Royal Brunei Airlines will resume routes from the Daxing Airport to Bandar Seri Begawan and other destinations.
