To improve the cycling experience during autumn and winter, Meituan Bike will fit windproof "gloves" on the first batch of 10,000 yellow shared bikes in Beijing. Additionally, the seats will be upgraded to sport-style ones.

A row of upgraded yellow shared bikes is ready to be put into use near the Ginkgo Avenue on Fucheng Road in Haidian District.

It is reported that the new model is equipped with a sport-style seat, featuring a hollow design to ensure even pressure distribution while enhancing comfort. Currently, the first 5,000 bicycles of this model have been deployed at popular locations in the urban area of Beijing.

As the weather turns colder, Meituan Bike is taking steps to make cycling more comfortable by introducing windproof "gloves" for their bicycles. These small yellow windshields have been attached to both handles of each bike, providing ample room inside for hand movement. The clever design helps keep your hands warm without affecting your ability to brake or steer. Additional bikes will be equipped with similar windshields in the future depending on the weather conditions in Beijing.
