Enamel Glazed Ceramics from the Palace Museum Collection

Time: February 10 to December 2024

The exhibition features more than 120 exquisite items of ancient Chinese enamel glazed ceramics from the Palace Museum collection. Ten glaze colors have been classified in accordance with the five major glaze systems, demonstrating the allure of these ancient Chinese artworks.

Nearly 200 unique items from the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tsinghua University Art Museum will be on display. They are examples of the bookbinding, illustration art, home dyeing and weaving, metalwork, ceramic decoration, and architectural design at the core of the Arts and Crafts Movement.

The exhibition will feature 59 original paintings on the Bible stories, Greek and Roman myth, portraits, and still life by 47 renowned artists such as Botticelli, Duccio, Raphael and Titian.
